Our double-sided carpet installation tape made from a special fabric backing is often used in the exhibition stand construction sector, where it is used for the temporary bonding of carpets and textile runners. The tape is coated with two different adhesives (strong/weak adhesive): the open side is coated with a durable dispersion acrylate adhesive that can be removed from most surfaces, the closed side (from which the yellow paper liner is removed) is coated with a strong hot-melt adhesive.

Area of application:
The adhesive tape is used as an exhibition installation tape (especially for B1 carpet backing) or in the event sector for bonding carpets. The tape can be applied to many surfaces and can be removed without leaving any residue. (Not suitable for artificial stone floors or marble.) However, the installer should carry out a self-test before laying.

Properties:
The open adhesive tape side has weaker adhesion, is laid towards the floor and rises over the course of a longer bonding period. The back of the floor covering is fixed and firmly anchored with the covered, strongly adhesive tape side.
