For degreasing, cleaning and preparing parts to be joined before bonding. Ideal for use on metals, many plastics and coloured surfaces. The cleaner is a mixture of isopropanol and distilled water (90:10).

Application instructions:
Substrate surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil and grease before bonding. Remove coarse soiling with a lint-free wipe. Oxide layers can be removed with Scotch-Brite™ 7447 abrasive fleece. Wipe surfaces with a lint-free wipe soaked in VHB™ Surface Cleaner in one direction until no dirt residue is visible. Surfaces must be dry before tape application. The drying time depends on the ambient conditions. Always keep the container closed when not in use. Do not refill or transfer to other containers to prevent contamination of the cleaner and evaporation of the alcohol, thus changing the mixing ratio.

Storage:
Storage and Shelf Life 3M™ VHB™ Surface Cleaner has a shelf life of 36 months from date of manufacture and storage in the original container at 16 °C - 25 °C and 40 - 75 % relative humidity. Translated with
