Reinforcing - for heavy packaging or where there is a heavy transport load, taping in the H-pattern gives an optimum seal and extra hold, even when using double-walled cardboard. For such applications, Scotch Filament Tape 895 is recommended. Longitudinally oriented glass fibre reinforcements give the tape a high tear strength. The BoPP backing provides high resistance to abrasion, moisture and wear.

Processing and storage instructions
Surface condition:
Surfaces must be dry, free from dust, oil, oxides, release agents and other contaminants.

Surface cleaning:
The following cleaning agents, for example, can be used to remove dust, oil, release agents and other impurities:
- Isopropanol/water 50/50
- Heptane or ethanol
- Acetone or MEK
- Suitable other cleaning agents that do not leave any residues and do not attack the substrate.
